At SV Shrimp Farm, LLC our mission is to produce fresh, live, shrimp without any hormones or antibiotics. Our shrimp are grown indoors in tanks, where they live out their lives in an environment that attempts to mimic the ocean. The shrimp will be sold to you right from the tank – guaranteeing a truly rare and fresh product for our customers.

It is important to us to share basic facts on shrimp with you. In the United States, over 90% of all shrimp consumed is imported. Of that imported shrimp, roughly 2% is inspected. Out of the small 2% that is inspected, nearly 60% of the shrimp is rejected. To avoid this, we have chosen a simple, sustainable, approach for our shrimp. Our approach contains four elements: feed, simple syrup, a probiotic and baking soda. Our mission is to provide fresh, live, shrimp to you and allow opportunities for education (tours) on shrimp.
